Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards than are of a value less than ten are worth face value and on the other hand 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual players; they strictly appear as the 2 hands to be played).

Two hands of two cards are then given to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The value for every hand is the sum total of the two cards, but the 1st digit is dropped. For eg, a hand of 7 and five will have a value of two (7plus5=12; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card might be dealt depending on the following rules:

- If the bettor or banker has a value of 8 or 9, both players stand.

- If the gambler has five or lower, he hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of five or lesser. If the player hits, a chart will be used to see if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the two scores wins. Winning wagers on the banker pay 19 to 20 (even money minus a five percent commission. Commission is kept track of and moved out when you leave the table so ensure that you have dollars left before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to 1. Winner bets for tie typically pays 8 to 1 and on occasion nine to one. (This is an awful wager as ties happen lower than 1 every ten hands. be cautious of laying money on a tie. Even so odds are radically better – nine to 1 versus 8 to 1)

Played smartly, baccarat presents relatively good odds, apart from the tie bet obviously.

Baccarat Tactics

As with most games, Baccarat has some established false impressions. One of which is very similar to a roulette myth. The past is in no way an actual indicator of future actions. Staying abreast of previous results on a chart is for sure a total waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most commonly used and feasibly most successful method is the one-three-two-6 scheme. This method is used to increase earnings and reducing risk.

Begin by betting one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, clear away 4 so you have 2 on the third wager. If you win the 3rd bet, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a total of 6 on the 4th wager.

If you don’t win on the first bet, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet quickly followed by loss on the 2nd brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. Coming out on top on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. This means that you can lose the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
