Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards of a value less than ten are give a value of face value while 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards will then be played to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The score for any hand will be the sum total of the two cards, but the first digit is removed. For e.g., a hand of 7 and 5 produces a score of two (sevenplusfive=12; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card could be given depending on the following practices:

- If the gambler or banker has a value of eight or nine, then both gamblers stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or less, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the gambler hits, a chart will be used to see if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the 2 scores wins. Victorious stakes on the banker payout 19 to 20 (even odds less a five percent commission. Commission is followed closely and moved out when you leave the table so ensure you have funds left before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to 1. Winner bets for tie as a rule pays 8 to one but sometimes nine to one. (This is an awful wager as ties happen lower than one every ten hands. be cautious of placing bets on a tie. Regardless odds are significantly better – 9 to 1 vs. eight to 1)

When done smartly, baccarat provides pretty decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Tactics

As with many games, Baccarat has some common misunderstandings. One of which is quite similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is not an actual indicator of future actions. Staying abreast of prior results on a chart is undoubtedly a total waste of paper as well as a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most common and feasibly most successful strategy is the one-three-2-six concept. This plan is employed to magnify profits and lowering risk.

Begin by gambling one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, take away 4 so you have 2 on the third gamble. If you win the third wager, add 2 to the four on the table for a sum total of six on the 4th wager.

If you don’t win on the first wager, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet quickly followed by loss on the second creates a loss of two. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Winning all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. Thus you can fail to win the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
