Baccarat Banque Regulations

Punto banco is wagered on with eight decks in a dealer’s shoe. Cards under ten are worth their printed value while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Bets are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not really people; they simply represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The value for every hand is the total of the cards, but the 1st digit is dropped. For example, a hand of five and six has a total of one (5 plus 6 = eleven; ignore the initial ‘1′).

A additional card might be given depending on the following rules:

- If the player or banker achieves a value of 8 or nine, the two players stand.

- If the player has five or less, he hits. Players holds otherwise.

- If the gambler holds, the banker hits on five or lower. If the player hits, a table is employed to decide if the banker holds or hits.

Punto Banco Odds

The higher of the two scores wins. Winning wagers on the bank pay out 19 to 20 (equal money minus a five percent commission. The Rake is kept track of and cleared out when you quit the game so make sure you have money remaining just before you quit). Winning bets on the gambler pay 1 to 1. Winning wagers for tie frequently pays out at eight to one but occasionally 9:1. (This is a poor wager as a tie occurs lower than 1 in every 10 rounds. Be wary of betting on a tie. However odds are substantially greater for nine to one vs. 8:1)

Gambled on properly punto banco offers relatively decent odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Punto Banco Method

As with all games punto banco has a handful of accepted myths. One of which is close to a myth in roulette. The past isn’t a prophecy of future outcomes. Tracking previous outcomes at a table is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our stationary needs.

The most accepted and definitely the most favorable scheme is the 1-3-2-6 technique. This plan is deployed to maximize earnings and limit losses.

Begin by wagering 1 dollar. If you succeed, add one more to the 2 on the game table for a grand total of three dollars on the second bet. Should you succeed you will hold six on the game table, take away 4 so you are left with two on the third round. If you win the third bet, deposit two to the 4 on the game table for a grand total of six on the fourth round.

Should you do not win on the 1st round, you take a loss of one. A profit on the 1st round followed by a hit on the 2nd causes a hit of two. Success on the first 2 with a loss on the third gives you with a take of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th means you experience no loss. Winning at all 4 wagers leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. This means you are able to give up the second wager five times for every successful streak of four wagers and in the end, are even.
