Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards valued less than 10 are give a value of face value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they only symbolize the 2 hands to be played).

Two hands of two cards shall then be given to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The total for every hand is the sum of the two cards, but the 1st digit is discarded. For example, a hand of seven as well as 5 will have a value of 2 (sevenplus5=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A third card might be given out depending on the following guidelines:

- If the gambler or banker has a total score of eight or nine, the two bettors stand.

- If the gambler has 5 or less, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the player hits, a chart is used to decide if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the 2 scores wins. Winning bets on the banker pay out nineteen to 20 (even odds less a 5% commission. Commission is monitored and moved out when you leave the table so make sure to have funds still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to one. Winner bets for tie by and large pay 8 to one and occasionally 9 to one. (This is a crazy gamble as ties occur less than 1 every 10 hands. Avoid betting on a tie. Still, odds are emphatically better – 9 to one vs. eight to one)

Played properly, baccarat presents pretty good odds, apart from the tie wager ofcourse.

Baccarat Tactics

As with many games, Baccarat has some well-known myths. One of which is close to a roulette misconception. The past is never actually a predictor of future results. Tracking of last results on a chart is a waste of paper as well as a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most accepted and possibly most successful technique is the 1-3-two-6 method. This method is employed to pump up payout and lowering risk.

Begin by betting 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, remove 4 so you have two on the third bet. If you win the 3rd bet, add two to the four on the table for a value of six on the fourth bet.

If you lose on the 1st wager, you take a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed by loss on the 2nd creates a loss of two. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Attaining a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. This means you can fail to win the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
