Baccarat Regulations

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards which are valued less than 10 are worth face value while 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Wagers are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they just depict the two hands to be dealt).

2 hands of 2 cards will now be given out to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The total for any hand is the sum total of the two cards, but the 1st digit is discarded. For example, a hand of seven … 5 has a total score of two (7plusfive=12; drop the ‘1′).

A third card could be given depending on the foll. codes:

- If the gambler or banker has a tally of 8 or nine, then both bettors stand.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of five or lesser. If the gambler hits, a chart will be used in order to judge if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the 2 scores wins. Winning wagers on the banker payout 19 to twenty (even odds less a 5 percent commission. Commission is tracked and moved out when you leave the table so be sure to have funds still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie normally pays 8 to one and sometimes 9 to one. (This is a terrible bet as ties will happen lower than 1 every 10 hands. Avoid wagering on a tie. Even so odds are certainly better – nine to one versus 8 to one)

Played effectively, baccarat offers generally decent odds, apart from the tie bet obviously.

Baccarat Tactics

As with many games, Baccarat has some established misunderstandings. One of which is similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is never actually a predictor of future events. Staying abreast of last results on a chart is undoubtedly a waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most accepted and feasibly most successful strategy is the one-3-two-six concept. This method is deployed to maximize wins and controlling risk.

start by wagering 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, remove 4 so you have two on the 3rd wager. If you win the 3rd bet, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a total of 6 on the 4th bet.

If you don’t win on the first wager, you take a loss of one. A win on the first bet quickly followed by loss on the 2nd causes a loss of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Attaining a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. Thus that you can fail to win the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
