Punto Banco Regulations and Strategy

Baccarat Principles

Baccarat banque is enjoyed with 8 decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards valued less than ten are valued at their printed number and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is one. Wagers are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then given to the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The total for each hand is the total of the cards, however the first number is dropped. For instance, a hand of 5 and six has a score of 1 (five plus six equals 11; drop the first ‘one’).

A third card might be given based on the following rules:

- If the gambler or banker has a total of 8 or 9, both players stand.

- If the player has less than 5, he takes a card. Players otherwise stay.

- If the gambler stays, the banker hits on five or lower. If the player hits, a guide is used to figure out if the bank stands or hits.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The higher of the 2 totals wins. Winning bets on the house payout nineteen to Twenty (equal cash minus a five percent rake. Commission are tracked and cleared out when you quit the table so be sure to have money around just before you quit). Winning bets on the player pays 1:1. Winning wagers for tie normally pay 8:1 but sometimes nine to one. (This is a bad bet as ties occur lower than 1 in every ten hands. Be wary of putting money on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly better for 9:1 vs. eight to one)

Gambled on properly baccarat provides relatively decent odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Banque Course of Action

As with all games baccarat banque has quite a few common misunderstandings. One of which is similar to a misconception in roulette. The past isn’t a fore-teller of events about to happen. Recording past outcomes on a sheet of paper is a waste of paper and an insult to the tree that was cut down for our paper desires.

The most common and likely the most successful method is the one-three-two-six method. This tactic is used to maximize winnings and limit losses.

Begin by wagering 1 unit. If you succeed, add another to the two on the table for a sum of three dollars on the second bet. If you win you will hold 6 on the game table, subtract 4 so you have 2 on the third bet. If you succeed on the third wager, add two to the four on the game table for a sum total of 6 on the fourth wager.

Should you do not win on the first bet, you take a hit of 1. A profit on the 1st wager followed by a hit on the 2nd causes a hit of two. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the third provides you with a take of 2. And wins on the initial three with a hit on the fourth means you are even. Winning all 4 rounds leaves you with 12, a gain of ten. This means you will be able to squander the 2nd wager 5 times for every favorable streak of 4 rounds and still balance the books.
