Punto Banco Regulations
Baccarat banque is played with eight decks in a dealer’s shoe. Cards under ten are valued at face value and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Wagers are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not actual people; they simply represent the 2 hands to be dealt).
Two cards are given to both the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The value for each hand is the sum total of the cards, although the first number is ignored. For example, a hand of five and 6 has a value of 1 (5 plus six equals eleven; dump the initial ‘one’).
A 3rd card could be given using the rules below:
- If the player or house achieves a value of eight or 9, the two players hold.
- If the player has five or less, she hits. Players stays otherwise.
- If the player stays, the house takes a card on five or less. If the player hits, a guide is employed to see if the banker stands or hits.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds
The higher of the two hands wins. Winning wagers on the banker payout nineteen to Twenty (even money less a 5% rake. The Rake is recorded and cleared out when you depart the table so be sure to have funds around just before you quit). Winning wagers on the gambler pays 1:1. Winning wagers for tie normally pays out at 8:1 but sometimes 9:1. (This is a poor wager as a tie occurs less than 1 in every ten rounds. Be cautious of wagering on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly greater for nine to one versus eight to one)
Bet on correctly baccarat provides pretty good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.
Baccarat Strategy
As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has quite a few familiar false impressions. One of which is close to a false impression in roulette. The past isn’t an indicator of future actions. Recording previous results on a page of paper is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that gave its life for our stationary desires.
The most accepted and possibly the most successful course of action is the 1-3-2-6 technique. This method is used to build up winnings and limit losses.
Begin by betting 1 dollar. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the game table for a sum total of 3 chips on the second bet. Should you succeed you will now have 6 on the table, take away 4 so you are left with two on the 3rd wager. Should you win the third bet, deposit 2 on the 4 on the game table for a sum total of 6 on the 4th bet.
If you lose on the first bet, you take a loss of 1. A profit on the initial wager followed by a hit on the second causes a loss of two. Success on the initial 2 with a defeat on the third gives you with a gain of 2. And success on the 1st 3 with a loss on the 4th means you balance the books. Winning at all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. This means you can not win on the 2nd round 5 times for every favorable run of 4 rounds and still experience no loss.
