Punto Banco Practices and Method

Punto Banco Rules

Punto banco is wagered on with 8 decks in a dealer’s shoe. Cards under 10 are counted at their printed number and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is one. Bets are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not really people; they simply represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The total for each hand is the total of the two cards, although the beginning number is dumped. e.g., a hand of five and 6 has a score of one (5 plus 6 equals eleven; drop the initial ‘1′).

A 3rd card can be given out depending on the rules below:

- If the player or bank gets a score of eight or nine, both players hold.

- If the player has less than five, she hits. Players stands otherwise.

- If the gambler holds, the house takes a card on a total lower than five. If the player hits, a table is used to determine if the house stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the two totals wins. Winning bets on the bank payout 19:20 (even payout less a 5% commission. The Rake is recorded and cleared out when you quit the game so ensure you still have money left over just before you quit). Winning bets on the player pays one to one. Winning bets for tie frequently pays eight to one but sometimes 9:1. (This is a bad wager as ties occur less than 1 in every ten rounds. Avoid wagering on a tie. However odds are substantially better for 9:1 versus eight to one)

Played properly punto banco offers relatively good odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Banque Scheme

As with all games Baccarat has a few familiar misunderstandings. One of which is close to a myth in roulette. The past isn’t a harbinger of events about to happen. Recording previous results at a table is a waste of paper and an affront to the tree that was cut down for our stationary needs.

The most familiar and likely the most favorable plan is the one, three, two, six technique. This tactic is used to maximize earnings and minimizing risk.

Begin by wagering one dollar. If you win, add one more to the two on the game table for a sum of three dollars on the second bet. If you succeed you will hold six on the game table, take away four so you have 2 on the third bet. If you come away with a win on the 3rd wager, put down two on the 4 on the table for a sum total of 6 on the fourth wager.

Should you lose on the 1st bet, you take a hit of one. A profit on the first bet followed by a hit on the second brings about a loss of two. Success on the first two with a loss on the third provides you with a take of two. And success on the first three with a hit on the fourth means you break even. Succeeding at all four bets leaves you with 12, a gain of 10. This means you will be able to lose the 2nd bet five instances for each successful run of four bets and still experience no loss.
