Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are said to be worth their printed number meanwhile ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they only symbolize the 2 hands to be played).

Two hands of two cards shall then be dealt to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The score for any hand will be the sum of the two cards, but the first digit is discarded. For eg, a hand of seven … 5 gives a tally of two (7plus5=12; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card may be given out depending on the following regulations:

- If the bettor or banker has a total of 8 or nine, both bettors stand.

- If the player has 5 or lower, he/she hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the gambler hits, a chart is used to decide if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the 2 scores will be the winner. Victorious wagers on the banker pay at 19 to 20 (even odds minus a five % commission. Commission is tracked and paid out when you leave the table so ensure that you have funds remaining before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to 1. Winning bets for tie generally pays eight to one but occasionally 9 to one. (This is a crazy bet as ties happen lower than 1 every 10 hands. Stay away from putting money on a tie. Nonetheless odds are noticeably better – 9 to 1 vs. eight to 1)

When played smartly, baccarat presents pretty decent odds, aside from the tie wager ofcourse.

Baccarat Strategy

As with every games, Baccarat has some well-known false impressions. One of which is quite similar to a roulette myth. The past is surely not a predictor of future results. Monitoring of historic outcomes on a chart is definitely a waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most accepted and feasibly most successful technique is the one-3-2-6 method. This method is used to magnify earnings and minimizing risk.

start by gambling 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, take away four so you have two on the 3rd bet. If you win the 3rd wager, add two to the four on the table for a value of 6 on the 4th bet.

If you don’t win on the 1st bet, you take a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed by loss on the second creates a loss of two. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you breakeven. Winning all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. Therefore you can get beaten the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
