Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards that are valued under 10 are valued at their printed value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they purely depict the two hands to be given out).

2 hands of two cards will then be given out to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The value for any hand will be the sum of the two cards, but the 1st digit is discarded. For eg, a hand of seven as well as 5 will have a total score of 2 (7plusfive=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A third card could be given out depending on the foll. protocols:

- If the bettor or banker has a value of 8 or nine, the two bettors stand.

- If the player has five or less, he/she hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the player hits, a chart will be used in order to decide if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the 2 scores will be the winner. Victorious stakes on the banker payout 19 to 20 (even odds minus a 5 percent commission. Commission is tracked and paid out when you leave the table so ensure that you have $$$$$ left before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to one. Winning bets for tie commonly pays out at eight to 1 but sometimes nine to one. (This is a terrible wager as ties will occur less than 1 every 10 hands. abstain from placing bets on a tie. Still, odds are substantially better – nine to 1 vs. 8 to one)

When played properly, baccarat provides relatively decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some established misconceptions. One of which is very similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is surely not an actual indicator of future results. Monitoring of prior results on a chart is for sure a complete waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most accepted and probably most successful method is the one-3-two-6 method. This schema is employed to amplify earnings and limiting risk.

commence by betting 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, subtract 4 so you have 2 on the 3rd bet. If you win the third bet, add two to the four on the table for a value of 6 on the fourth bet.

If you don’t win on the first bet, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first bet followed by loss on the 2nd will create a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you breakeven. A win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. Therefore you can get beaten the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
