Baccarat Rules

Baccarat Standards

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards which are valued less than ten are said to be at their printed value whereas 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual gamblers; they only depict the 2 hands to be dealt).

2 hands of two cards will now be dealt to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The total for each hand shall be the sum total of the 2 cards, but the very first digit is removed. For eg, a hand of seven as well as five produces a total of 2 (sevenplusfive=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A third card could be given out depending on the following codes:

- If the gambler or banker has a tally of 8 or nine, then both gamblers stand.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, he/she hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or less. If the bettor hits, a chart shall be used to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the 2 scores will be the winner. Successful wagers on the banker payout 19 to twenty (even money minus a 5% commission. Commission is tracked and moved out when you leave the table so ensure you have cash left over before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie as a rule pay out 8 to one and on occasion 9 to one. (This is a crazy gamble as ties will happen less than one every ten hands. be cautious of laying money on a tie. Still, odds are generously better – 9 to one vs. eight to 1)

Played accurately, baccarat presents generally good odds, apart from the tie wager ofcourse.

Baccarat Tactics

As with most games, Baccarat has some common false impressions. 1 of which is very similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is in no way an indicator of future results. Keeping track of past results on a chart is for sure a waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most common and possibly most successful method is the one-3-two-six method. This technique is used to magnify winnings and controlling risk.

start by betting one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, take away four so you have two on the 3rd gamble. If you win the third wager, add two to the 4 on the table for a grand total of 6 on the 4th wager.

If you don’t win on the first wager, you take a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the second will create a loss of 2. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Attaining a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. Therefore you can lose the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
