Baccarat Policies

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards that are valued less than ten are give a value of their printed number while at the same time ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual gamblers; they just act as the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards will then be given out to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The value for any hand is the total of the two cards, but the first digit is removed. For example, a hand of seven … five gives a score of 2 (sevenplus5=12; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card may be played depending on the foll. rules:

- If the bettor or banker has a tally of 8 or nine, the two bettors stand.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, he/she hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the gambler hits, a chart is used in order to judge if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the 2 scores is the winner. Victorious stakes on the banker payout 19 to 20 (even money minus a 5% commission. Commission is tracked and paid out when you leave the table so be sure to have $$$$$ left before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to one. Winner bets for tie customarily pays eight to one and sometimes 9 to one. (This is a terrible wager as ties will occur lower than 1 every ten hands. Run away from putting money on a tie. However odds are significantlly better – 9 to one versus eight to one)

When done accurately, baccarat presents fairly good odds, apart from the tie wager obviously.

Baccarat Tactics

As with all games, Baccarat has some common myths. One of which is quite similar to a roulette misconception. The past is not an actual indicator of future happenings. Keeping track of prior conclusions on a chart is for sure a total waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most common and possibly most successful technique is the one-three-2-6 concept. This method is deployed to pump up successes and lowering risk.

commence by betting one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, take away four so you have two on the third bet. If you win the third wager, add 2 to the four on the table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth gamble.

If you lose on the first bet, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet followed by loss on the 2nd will create a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. Coming out on top on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. This means you can lose the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
