Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards than are of a value less than ten are counted at face value meanwhile 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just appear as the 2 hands to be played).

2 hands of two cards shall then be given out to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The total for every hand is the sum of the 2 cards, but the very first digit is removed. For e.g., a hand of 7 … five has a tally of 2 (7plusfive=12; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card may be played depending on the foll. guidelines:

- If the player or banker has a total of eight or 9, each gamblers stand.

- If the bettor has five or less, he hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the player hits, a chart will be used in order to decide if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the 2 scores will be the winner. Victorious bets on the banker payout 19 to 20 (even odds minus a 5% commission. Commission is kept track of and moved out when you leave the table so make sure you have dollars still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to 1. Winner bets for tie typically pays out at eight to 1 and on occasion nine to 1. (This is a terrible bet as ties will occur less than 1 every 10 hands. be wary of laying money on a tie. Nevertheless odds are somewhat better – 9 to one versus eight to 1)

Played correctly, baccarat offers relatively decent odds, aside from the tie bet ofcourse.

Baccarat Strategy

As with every games, Baccarat has some well-known false impressions. 1 of which is very similar to a roulette myth. The past is not an actual indicator of future actions. Monitoring of past results on a chart is a waste of paper … an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most common and feasibly most successful strategy is the one-three-two-6 method. This technique is deployed to boost winnings and limiting risk.

start by gambling one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, take away four so you have 2 on the third wager. If you win the third wager, add two to the 4 on the table for a sum total of 6 on the 4th wager.

If you don’t win on the first wager, you take a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the 2nd creates a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you break even. A win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. In other words that you can lose the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
