Baccarat Chemin de Fer Policies and Strategy

Baccarat Rules

Baccarat is wagered on with 8 decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards valued less than ten are valued at their printed number while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t really people; they simply represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘house’ and ‘player’. The value for each hand is the total of the two cards, although the first number is dumped. For example, a hand of 5 and 6 has a total of 1 (five plus six equals eleven; drop the initial ‘1′).

A 3rd card may be dealt depending on the following rules:

- If the player or banker has a total of eight or 9, both players stand.

- If the player has five or less, he takes a card. Players otherwise stand.

- If the player stays, the house takes a card on five or less. If the player hits, a table is employed to see if the bank holds or takes a card.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The higher of the 2 scores wins. Winning bets on the banker payout 19:20 (even payout minus a 5 percent commission. Commission are kept track of and paid off once you leave the game so be sure to have funds remaining before you depart). Winning bets on the gambler pays one to one. Winning wagers for tie typically pays eight to one but occasionally nine to one. (This is a awful bet as ties occur lower than one in every 10 hands. Be wary of putting money on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly greater for 9:1 vs. 8 to 1)

Played properly baccarat provides relatively good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Method

As with all games baccarat banque has a few familiar false impressions. One of which is similar to a misconception in roulette. The past is not a fore-teller of events yet to happen. Tracking previous results on a sheet of paper is a waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life for our paper needs.

The most familiar and possibly the most acknowledged course of action is the one-three-two-six plan. This plan is employed to maximize winnings and minimizing losses.

Start by betting one dollar. If you succeed, add another to the two on the table for a total of three units on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, pull off 4 so you are left with 2 on the third bet. Should you succeed on the 3rd round, add two on the 4 on the table for a sum total of six on the 4th wager.

If you don’t win on the initial round, you take a loss of 1. A profit on the initial wager followed by a hit on the 2nd brings about a loss of 2. Success on the initial two with a defeat on the 3rd gives you with a take of 2. And success on the 1st 3 with a loss on the 4th means you balance the books. Winning at all four bets leaves you with twelve, a gain of 10. This means you can give up the 2nd bet five instances for every successful run of 4 wagers and still break even.
