Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards of a value less than 10 are give a value of face value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual gamblers; they simply portray the 2 hands to be given out).

2 hands of 2 cards shall then be given to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The total for every hand shall be the sum total of the two cards, but the first digit is discarded. For example, a hand of seven … 5 has a total score of 2 (7plus5=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A third card can be given depending on the following practices:

- If the player or banker has a score of eight or nine, each bettors stand.

- If the gambler has 5 or less, he/she hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the player hits, a chart shall be used in order to see if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the 2 scores will be the winner. Winning wagers on the banker pay out nineteen to twenty (even money less a five percent commission. Commission is monitored and cleared out when you leave the table so make sure to have dollars left over before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to one. Winner bets for tie typically pays eight to one but sometimes nine to one. (This is a crazy bet as ties will happen lower than one every ten hands. Avoid betting on a tie. Even so odds are actually better – 9 to one vs. 8 to 1)

Played correctly, baccarat presents fairly decent odds, aside from the tie bet obviously.

Baccarat Strategy

As with every games, Baccarat has some established myths. One of which is close to a roulette myth. The past is not an indicator of future outcomes. Monitoring of previous conclusions on a chart is definitely a waste of paper as well as an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most commonly used and almost certainly most successful tactic is the one-three-2-six concept. This scheme is employed to accentuate winnings and controlling risk.

commence by gambling one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, clear away four so you have two on the third gamble. If you win the 3rd bet, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a grand total of six on the fourth gamble.

If you lose on the initial wager, you take a loss of one. A win on the first bet quickly followed by loss on the second will create a loss of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. Winning at all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. Thus you can fail to win the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
